Short Description
A contract with Sunderland Council to start ASAP.
Main Duties
Practice Previous experience in Food Safety Enforcement. Additional resources are required to meet increased and unmet demand as required by the Food Standards Agency. The agency worker will be paid with budget allocated for 5 senior EHO posts which are currently filled by 5 trainee EHOs at a lower grade. Expenses will include casual mileage. The agency worker will be managed by the Principal EHO and will operate on a per inspection rate. The carrying out of professional and technical duties in respect of the enforcement of Food Safety legislation. These duties will include, but not be limited to, the inspection of food premises in accordance with the requirements set out by the Food Standards Agency. The completion of all appropriate inspection proformas, letters, reports and notices. The accurate and timely data input of inspection details and risk assessments. Regular liaison with Principal EHO (commercial) to include progress reporting and incident reports.
Degree in Environmental Health EHRB Certificate of Registration Full and demonstrated Food Hygiene and Standards Competency in accordance with the requirements of the Food Law Code of Practice
