Current workload has stretched resources to the point where we require another temporary quantity surveyor to able the department to maintain the quality of our service provision. The candidate must be sufficiently experienced to enable them to manage and drive their workload with the minimum of supervision. |
| Main Duties |
Reporting to the Cost Control Manager, the candidate will be responsible for cost planning a variety of schemes within given budgets and the timely preparation of tender documentation including the measurement of Bills of Quantities to SMM7. |
| Key Skills |
Must have experience of measurement, preparing contract documentation, cost planning, value management, traditional and design & build procurement methods and have good Client facing skills. Must be capable of producing quality work to strict timescales and be able to manage a number of competing priorities and Clients. They must have an appreciation of the importance of Client care. |
