| Basic Job Description | 2 month contract for fitter experienced in working with light commercial vehicles |
| Main Duties | To be responsible to the Workshop Team Leader/Workshop Manager for the effective and efficient inspection, repair and maintenance of the full range of more than 300 commercial vehicles, plant and equipment to Ministry of Transport, Vehicle Manufacturers, Contract Hire Suppliers and Council Standards. |
| Key Skills | Time served LGV fitter with City & Guilds or NVQ 3 qualification in heavy motor vehicle technology At least 5 years LGV fitting experience, including knowledge and experience of the following: • Diesel engine • Transmissions • Hydraulics • Electrical • Braking systems • Vehicle safety inspections |
