ICT End User Technician |
| Main Duties |
To be part of a team of ICT Professionals to provide, and contribute to the technical implementation, effective delivery, support and ongoing development of the end-user computing environment under guidance of senior team members.. This will encompass the full provision of desktop support services including configuration installation and supporting all end-user related hardware software. Provide support and assistance to clients and deal with installation of new systems and software packages. Assisting with test procedures during the upgrade or installation of systems. Respond to computing incidents and work requests coming into the ICT service desk and ensuring that they are dealt with in accordance with targets set. |
| Key Skills |
Competent in producing project documentation and reports
Analytical skills and interpret management information
Experience in co-ordinating change
Proven ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
Proven ability to work under pressure, determine priorities and meet tight deadlines
Good interpersonal & communication skills
Ability to analyse problems and adopt an innovative approach to finding more efficient solutions
Ability to think laterally and solve problems logically
Flexible approach to working time arrangements
