A lot of our vacancies that are on our website come up with 'Application Over' and I wanted to explain the reason for this.

The majority of the vacancies we get require us to submit CV's within a short timescale, eg 2 hours-2 days.  However, the bulk of the vacancies are for staff that we constantly require for the local councils so we leave these on to show an example of the staff we require.  So if the vacancy is over, then we generally will have another almost identical vacancy within a couple of weeks and this allows new applicants to send in their CV for future vacancies.
